About the Teacher

My goal as a group teacher is to make piano lessons enjoyable
for the student and foster a life long love of music.
Group piano lessons foster this because students naturally enjoy
the group experience and look forward to the lesson because
it is challenging yet entertaining.
Young students are often more comfortable playing in groups.
Middle school students enjoy learning with their peers.
High school students tend to be more motivated
and energized in group lessons than the traditional solo lessons.
All ages enjoy creating ensembles.
In addition, group piano students develop excellent rhythm skills.
